Never owned a cellphone, or any other wireless device. Neither do any of our children (14, 18, 20). It is possible and still have a good relationship with your children. My youngest recently said when observing a 6-year old who was obsessing over her cellphone: "I understand why you never gave us a cellphone. I don't want one either.". People are scared to not give their children a cellphone, maybe scared of bullying, but it's actually not that hard. As a parent you have to put some effort in and be active with your children because let's face it: there aren't a lot of places anymore where kids simply play outside, but there are still lots of activities and sports. Once kids learned how to entertain themselves without a phone, things progress naturally. Kids in the area all have cellphones but they never bullied. Most children are naturally kind, curious and inclusive. I wish there would be more attention for this issue because I know most parents DREAD to say NO to their children when it comes to these devices. Also they need to understand they can say NO to schools, who often push technology on kids under the false premise of 'staying behind'.
I was at Yosemite for a week about a year ago, stayed in the small town of Madera. While at a city park met a naturalist who had worked at Yosemite for almost 40 years and had lived in Madera for 70+ years , he pointed out numerous bird species which used to be in the area. He also pointed out numerous insects had disappeared,,,,,, so for the next 5 days I watched for birds to see how many I could see. I saw 3 sparrows fighting over a French fry on main st in Madera…….

We used to have snake flies -- one of my favorites -- now all gone. The ground of this clearing in the redwoods used to be covered with a species of red "bug" -- a few on every square foot -- which I never troubled to identify. Now they're gone.
Amazingly, for me, we had a couple of tarantula hawks come into the yard -- I hadn't seen one since I was a boy in the Mojave. One of them dug into the sand like a dog, stayed under for a few minutes before emerging, brushing herself off, covering the disturbed sand, again, like a dog. Then torrential rains came. Our first year here I got bit real good so the traps caught many. Not many more spiders for last three years. The traps haven’t caught any. The few I find I catch alive a put them outside now. Same story re ants.

When I moved to NC 12 years ago there was a lively collection of birds, rabbits, and insects. They are almost gone. Could chem trails have anything to do with this? The local pollinator garden population is down by about 75%. The flocks of turkey buzzards are down about 80%. I would guess that the worst has happened over the last 4 or 5 years.
I have to admit i don't miss the ticks. When i moved into this rural N. CA valley 5 years ago, ticks were everywhere - it was pretty horrible for someone who is outside on the earth a lot. Each year, less ticks especially the last 3 years. And it's the same with all the insects - even earthworms, numerous 5 years ago, are rare. Less lizards, salamanders, but we still have lots of frogs in warmer rainy times. The geese in the sky lately seem confused, and are in small unconsolidated groups.

I note your reference to Climateviewer.com -- Jim Lee is a fine reporter on the subject of geoengineering -- I find it hard to pause his work; it's riveting.
What is helpful about his discovery of the method used to ratchet down the climate by manipulating air traffic altitudes is that it is ostensibly a method of "greenwashing" the contribution of air traffic exhaust to the supposed problem of global warming or of unacceptable CO2 levels.
Do you remember that awful exhibit of plasticized human remains masquerading as a scientific teaching? It's actually something of an industry now, though I no longer see it advertised on bill boards.

Yes, same here in Tucson Arizona. A decade ago, each summer we were swarmed at night by June bugs. Past two three summers, little to zero!
We used to have them here, in the Santa Cruz mountains -- but I haven't seen any for a few years.
I haven't seen a praying mantis for years. We would have them annually all over our porch late Summer. Every Fall we would carefully relocate one or two of their egg cases strategically in our garden and in the Spring, watch in utter amazement as the hundreds of them came out and scattered about.
My wife and I encountered one every year in our garden. Wondering if there will be another this coming summer, assuming we'll still be around.
We used to have snake flies -- one of my favorites -- now all gone. The ground of this clearing in the redwoods used to be covered with a species of red "bug" -- a few on every square foot -- which I never troubled to identify. Now they're gone.
Amazingly, for me, we had a couple of tarantula hawks come into the yard -- I hadn't seen one since I was a boy in the Mojave. One of them dug into the sand like a dog, stayed under for a few minutes before emerging, brushing herself off, covering the disturbed sand, again, like a dog. Then torrential rains came. The "whiplash weather" characteristic of geoengineering "experiments". I doubt that whatever she was taking care of down there survived.

I'll admit, I've long believed that, in certain singular circumstances, what befalls the insect is a foreshadowing of what will soon come to pass for me. I once half-joked to a friend that this principle didn't apply to the carnage on windscreen and radiator seen during the spring. Now, I'm wondering about that, too. I occasionally bring up the subject to a sympathetic customer at the checkout line, but hardly anyone seems to notice the strange and profound decline.
I marvel that people in general do not notice anything. How can they not pay attention to all the destruction around them? We owned chickens and I saw a direct correlation in their health to what was falling from the sky. It broke my heart to see them decline. They live outside, there was no protecting them. I tried to help by adding some charcoal or other binders to their food. I lost 4 chickens last year, and I see posts daily on social media of backyard chicken owners with sick and dying chickens.
Hi Arthur, here in suburb of Sacramento. Lived here 10 years. Every year we’d buy a dozen indoor spider traps as this n-hood is former ranch lands. Our first year here I got bit real good so the traps caught many. Not many more spiders for last three years. The traps haven’t caught any. The few I find I catch alive a put them outside now. Same story re ants.
I did the same thing yesterday there was a spider crawling down the wall just a small little guy and I didn’t have the heart to kill it as I normally would so put it back outside

When I moved to NC 12 years ago there was a lively collection of birds, rabbits, and insects. They are almost gone. Could chem trails have anything to do with this? The local pollinator garden population is down by about 75%. The flocks of turkey buzzards are down about 80%. I would guess that the worst has happened over the last 4 or 5 years.

I have to admit i don't miss the ticks. When i moved into this rural N. CA valley 5 years ago, ticks were everywhere - it was pretty horrible for someone who is outside on the earth a lot. Each year, less ticks especially the last 3 years. And it's the same with all the insects - even earthworms, numerous 5 years ago, are rare. Less lizards, salamanders, but we still have lots of frogs in warmer rainy times. The geese in the sky lately seem confused, and are in small unconsolidated groups.
